To those of you who follw this blog , you KNOW I am a media person thru and thru and represent the cutting edge of the new vanguard in media going forward as explained at metropulse.com and metropulse.net.
As of this writing I am ALMOST 70 years young and wanted to state for the record that as a journalist and an editor I have always tried to be open minded and embrace as well as entertain competing viewpoints. The essence of journalism is research and truth and in the current day and age that seems almost impossible to attain with the rampant misinformation being disseminated.
In my 45 years in media I have never seen such polarization and legacy media desperation. As our President leads the charge to properly disrupt legacy media and technology realignments fuels those audience shifts, I felt it prudent to state my position on the government shutdown by posting a piece I wrote and posted on my metropulse.com website a few days ago.
I am an old school guy who yearns for law and order and is appalled at the border violations and UNVETTED immigration assault on our beloved country engineered by what I consider to be treasonous lying 2 faced miscreants.
At the current time the country is grappling with a shutdown that has not only divided the country over party lines but has also put at risk the most vulnerable by virtue of key assistance programs being threatened by the end of this week (11/1 2025).
What enrages me and prompts me to post this is the blatant LIES being spewed by key Democrats in blaming Republicans for the shutdown when in reality it is the Democrats insistence on illegals getting 200 Billion in health care benefits over 10 years cloaked in the healthcare for all banner that provokes me the most and is the deterent spawning Republican opposition.
It is no secret The Democrats got slaughtered in the last election across the board and when Trump took office he promised this illegal scourge would end and ICE is fulfilling that promise. If the shutdown moves past Saturday and SNAP benefits are rescinded KNOW it is Democrat insistence on illegal health care that is the issue and all the lies these 2 faced Democrats are saying are just that… LIES!! They could care less about the vulnerable b/c those soon to be rousted illegals represent the last vestige of power this tettering on the brink of extinction political party is harboring…AT YOUR EXPENSE The post explains in more detail
